Summer Internship – Software and Tools

We are opening up a position for a skilled and engaged summer intern in our tools department, to contribute with migration of one of our engineering tools to a new database structure, as well as to support us on other tools related work in the department.

Tasks:

• Supporting on administrative software/tool tasks - such as supporting in adding data, documents and links in access database
• Supporting the developers/software architects in migration of attributes and reports in engineering tool (COMOS)
• Supporting the developers/software architects in migrating templates in engineering tool (COMOS)

Competencies:

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Ongoing bachelor/master student in engineering (automation, electronics) or computer sciences
• Ability to and experience with familiarizing yourself fast in new software/tools
• Basic programming skills is a plus (preferable Visual Basic, #C, SQL, Java)
• Basic experience in Database tools is a plus (Access,  MySQL, SQL Server) 

Personal attributes:

We are looking for a self-driven student that is ready to take on some challenging tasks. You work well independently, but also as part of a team, and you are interested in learning more about engineering software development, and software administration in an engineering company.
