Who are we looking for;

• Someone who is fluent in English and Spanish.

Extra languages French, Italian, Mandarin, Polish or German.

• Someone that is comfortable working outdoors in winter, able to navigate challenging weather conditions, such as snowstorms and icy roads for long periods of time.

• Someone who has a passion for adventure.

• Someone with Knowledge and expertise - local history, culture, attractions etc.

• You that has a strong ability to multi - task and flexible in the daily tasks.

• Someone that will contribute to a great team spirit! Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards.

• Interest in photography or a photographer.

• Someone with strong communication skills- this is essential for delivering enganging tours. From clear and concise explanations to story telling, your ability to captivate and connect with our guests is paramaount.

• Problem solving abilities - someone who can think quickly, adapt to any situations, solve problems while maintaining guest satisfaction.

• You that has experience from working in tourism and customer service industry.

• Education or experience in sales/tourism and restaurant is an advantage.

Arbeidsoppgaver

Your responsibilities;

• Guiding day and night tours also guiding your team.

• Lead your team to sucess.

• Pre-tour and post-tour preparations.

-Prepare the boat, cut vegetables and fruits and prep for next day.

  Maintain and clean the boat area, including wiping down tables, cleaning spills and restocking food an d beverages.

  Assist in opening and closing including setup, cleanup and cash balance.

  Prepare food and drinks to the tables.

  
  

-Clean kitchen and table areas after shift.

• Handle cash and card payments.

• Entertaining guests, storytelling and serving food and drinks.

• Capturing memorable moments of our guests on camera.

• Constantly expanding local knowledge to improve guide skills.

• Performing other assigned duties.

• Work in/with the team.

-Greet and orient clients and visitors.

• Manage appointment scheduling for clients and visitors.

-Perform daily office administration duties such as data entry, photocopying, answering phone calls and emails, contacting providers, collection mail and packages.

Team Polar Adventures is a small and passionate team who strive to always deliver the best experience possible for our guests.

This upcoming winter season, we are looking for a enthusiastic individual who can guide and lead our boat team to sucess. This is a full time position.

If you are a people person, have a bubbly personality, are familiar with the area, and have camera skills, then you are the one we are looking for.
