Senior Animator

Breach creates bleeding edge immersive experiences (VR / AR / MR / XR ... we do all the Rs!), and we are currently seeking a senior animator.

Headquartered in downtown Trondheim, the tech-capital and university city of Norway, Breach works on a variety of projects, games and applications both internally as well as with clients and partners around the world. Our diverse team consists of around 38 talented creative professionals from 9 countries, eager and ready to welcome new friends and colleagues.

We are looking for a Senior Animator to create stunning animations, be a source of inspiration and function as a mentor for the animation team. Our ideal candidate believes that the growth and development of the animation department is as important as the project itself, and is eager to play a key role through constructive feedback and inspiring work.

• Create blocking animations, placeholders and fully featured, polished animations

• Facilite for and contribute to feedback sessions, department reviews and creative discussions

• Contribute in team meetings, planning sessions and scoping discussions

• Ensure that animations are delivered within set targets and quality expectations

• Guide, mentor and instruct others in your department

• 5+ years of professional experience delivering animations for games, movies, VFX and/or XR experiences

• In-depth experience creating animations with Blender or Autodesk Animation tools (Maya etc)

• Experience with previs and concept development

• Comfortable estimating, planning and delivering to defined scopes and milestones

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability and desire to work with others in creative teams

• Experience with mocap and clean up

• Knowledge of Animbot

• Experience with rigging

• Previous experience in or a keen interest for XR technology
