Experienced Kitchen Assistant Wanted

Héctor is looking for Kitchen Assistants!

Héctor was built from the love of Mexican / Californian fusion food and drink, from soaking up the sun in Cancun and from partying through the night on a beach in Acapulco. We love the vibrant colours, exciting flavours and the FUN.

Where's the FUN gone in life? Why couldn't we have that here? Surely, we deserve it?! Haven't the great people of Trondheim done enough to earn it? A little fun is all we ask!! That and a little fiesta maybe...ok a BIG fiesta...with incredible food, amazing drinks... music, parties, outside eating on hot days, late nights on the balcony watching the sun go down (yes we get sun here too...sometimes!), laughing with friends... you get the idea right?

That was the dream. So, we made it come true and built Héctor.

Right now we are looking to add 1-2 kitchen assistants to the team who are looking to work extra or part-time.

So, if you have what it takes and want to be a part of Héctor then we want to hear from you.

What's the job like?

The job has a few main tasks but can be developed and expanded for the right person...

• Taking in deliveries and putting them correctly into storage.
• Working in service, cleaning dishes, glasses and kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning and restocking the kitchen areas.
• Preparing food and ingredients with the kitchen team

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people who:

• Can work until 02:00am, midweek and weekends.
• Are able to work fast and organised.
• Has good communication with their team.
• Takes initiative and doesn't need constant direction.
• Are positive and able to adjust to in-service challenges with ease (We have an open kitchen!)
• Knows their way around a kitchen and has a high standard for keeping things clean/organised.
• Can speak Norwegian or English
• Experience is a high bonus!

We are flexible on our start dates and working days but would love to have you join us in July
