Design Team Leader

Design is key to our working method and strategy. Bember focuses on user journeys, especially digital improvement of user journeys, in connection with physical places such as offices, shops, shopping centers, and homes. Therefore, we are looking for:

• Head of Design

• Senior UX Designer

• Senior UI Designer

Strong candidates have different strengths. Our goal is to put together a team that covers a wide range of skills.

We currently have several services and brands in the market. These will now be rolled out in Europe and the rest of the world. Our solutions include mature mobile services that need redesigning and services that are newly launched and will be further developed in close collaboration with our customers. New concepts are developed through iterations of clickable Figma prototypes to test the market and further develop the concepts.

The main focus of the team's responsibilities lies in product development, but we also have graphic needs in web design, branding, and even some physical printing.

As a growing company, we have begun the journey of structuring our processes and tools.

If you are experienced in service/product design and can showcase solutions you are proud of, get in touch. If you can also demonstrate experience in building and leading teams with peers, we have a leadership position we want you to consider.

The need for pure graphic design does not fill a full position, so experience with it is an advantage. If you only have graphic experience, we currently do not have a position for you.

Our most important tool is Figma. Figma is used throughout the process from idea and concept development, maintenance of our design manuals to the specification and launch of services. Adobe covers most of our other needs. Collaboration with Tech and the rest of the Product team is done through Storybook, Azure DevOps, and Slack.

• Sketch and design user journeys and interfaces related to existing and new solutions

• Design individual features or entire services for users on mobile, desktop, or in the physical space

• Work with Product Specialists to develop detailed product specifications for technical development

• Create prototypes of new features and concepts

• Ensure quality in UI and UX

• Build scripts for videos together with the product team for ordering e.g. animation films

• Illustrations and marketing materials

• Maintain our design manuals and graphic profiles for our services

• Participate in the operation, maintenance, and further development of our digital platforms and brand graphic profiles

• Contribute to Bember using design as a strategic tool for further growth.

• A few years of experience in designing digital services on mobile and desktop. We do not have the capacity to take in newly graduates now.

• Strong competence in visualizing and communicating concepts and solution proposals.

• The ability to present solution proposals and argue convincingly for them

• Strong sense of form
