Fjord V is dedicated to fostering sustainable businesses. In harmony with nature and in magnificent fjord and mountain surroundings, we are in the process of developing a "Farm to Table" concept. This is part of our focus on sustainable travel.

Job Title

Entrepreneur-Farmer

This position is unique, innovative, and forward-looking. Applicants will actively participate in shaping the role. The job description is flexible and should be understood as less fixed than for traditional roles.

Location

Ytterli Farm, Fjørå, Norway (in one of Norway's most beautiful landscapes)

Vision

Farm - Plant-based agriculture. Soil health, biological diversity, and nutritious food. Minimal artificial interventions.

to - Harvesting, storage, and processing.

Table - Culinary experiences with products of the highest quality.

Position

Shape and realize the vision. Starting from farming, you will tackle the challenge with the freedom to shape approaches and solutions. Varied tasks that evolve over time. An active role in travel business.

We are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial mindset who has the motivation and potential to realize the concept. You have a sustainable vision for the concept that you believe in, can communicate, and wish to implement.

Possible Responsibilities

(Will be adapted in dialogue with the applicant)

• Develop and implement sustainable agricultural methods.
• Farming and farm management.
• Handle storage, processing, procurement, preparation, sales, and service.
• Facilitate the creation of a new company.
• Active participation in travel business.

Desired Qualifications and Personal Characteristics

• Demonstrated ability to set goals, produce results, and overcome challenges.
• Experience with farming and farm management.
• Vision for and belief in the 'Farm to Table' concept.
• Creativity, motivation, resilience, self-discipline, strong thinking and problem solving abilities, the capacity for self-directed learning, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong communication skills.
• IT skills and use of AI tools (the philosophy behind this will be further explained).
• All necessary qualifications to fulfill the agreed responsibilities.
