COSL Drilling Europe, a safe and efficient drilling contractor dedicated to delivering on the energy transition with its cutting-edge, low-emission drilling rigs, is currently seeking skilled and motivated Roustabouts/Operation and Maintenance Operators to join our team.

The Operation and Maintenance Operator`s tasks and responsibilities are, but not limited to, following:

• Perform duties according to relevant requirements as signaller, slinger and rigger during lifting and rigging operations.
• Participate in loading and offloading of supply vessels.
• Participate in helicopter operations related to landing and take off, loading and offloading and refuelling.
• Maintain working areas, tools, and safety equipment in a clean, tidy and orderly manner.
• Assist on drill floor if required (and qualified).
• Be familiar with air-/hydraulic winches and hand signals.
• General paint/coating tasks and odd jobs.
• Work as directed by the Crane Operator

Suitable applicants should ideally have:

• Passed a vocational training programme within technological / electrical and industrial production with specialization in maritime studies or transport/logistics
• Fit to take part in the Emergency Response Team (Passed Medical Certificate NOG Smoke Diver)
• Banksman & Slinger (O 1.1 og 2.3)
• Basic Safety Training - NOG
• Offshore Medical Certificate
• Work Permit & Safe Job Analysis
• Cargo in supply chain (Pakking og sikring av last iht OLF 116)
• Chemical Handling - basic knowledge
• Dangerous Goods by air - IATA WEB kurs
• Dangerous Goods by sea - IMDG -web kurs
• Fork Lift Operator Certificate T 1 & T4
• G20 Knuckle Boom Crane Cert.(Fastmontert hydraulisk kran)
• ISPS Designated Security Duties
• Rigging course (O 2.2 + 3.2)
• VHF
• Search & Rescue Team NOG
• HLO
• MOB Fast Rescue Boat, incl night
• ISPS Designated Security Duties
• P-2.4 Simple Lifting Device
• Fall Prevention Basic
• IWCF Level 1
