Your contribution as Product Designer to our global team will be crucial in shaping the future of EmergencyTech.

The ideal candidate will have a strong and proven ability to take client ideas and transform them into concrete product enhancements based on end-user needs. You should feel comfortable creating prototypes and communicating with internal and external teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. You should also be able to demonstrate previous work through a portfolio.

At Bliksund, you will:

• Lead product discovery processes.

• Understand how design work supports business goals, prioritise tasks, and find ways for design to add value.

• Conduct in-depth user research using qualitative and quantitative methods.

• Participate in user interviews, shadowing, and testing.

• Use metrics to make informed decisions and suggest how to measure design success.

• Ensure accessibility and inclusive design practices are implemented.

• Create user-centric designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints/opportunities.

• Simplify complex processes into intuitive and elegant user experiences while utilising our design system components and patterns effectively.

• Present concepts clearly and handle stakeholder feedback effectively.

We think you have these qualities:

• At least a bachelor's degree or equivalent

• 3-5+ years experience within the design field (product, digital, service, UX, or UI).

• Experience in UX, interaction design, and prototyping to create user flows and effectively conceptualise new digital product initiatives.

• Experience with working in a modern product development organisation.

• Ability to collaborate with product trio on product discovery.

• Conduct user research, interviews, and testing.

• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design

• Ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts simply.

• Experience with product management and/or project management is a plus.

• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.

Office location

The ideal candidate should be able to work from one of our locations in Scandinavia: Oslo (NO), Grimstad (NO) or Thisted (DK). Hybrid options can be discussed.
