Working as a snow sports instructor in Geilo Ski School is an active and fun profession, where you get the opportunity to create good experiences for both yourself and the guests.

We are a small team with a passion for skiing and snowboarding, who want to share the joy of skiing and facilitate mastery. We will not only develop our guests, we will together through internal education increase our knowledge and inspire each other. Everyone has something to contribute. Because of that we are a small team it is also important that the team has different knowledge, languages

and qualities.

Geilo Ski School is constantly developing, where we look positively on establishment and investment in our employees. The staff are absolutely the most important resource in our company and we will also facilitate the development of each individual.

We would prefer that you as an applicant have a minimum ski instructor education Scandinavian course 2 or similar, and preferably snowboard, cross-country skiing or snow sports for the disabled as an additional discipline. We need broad knowledge from each individual instructor. It is a great advantage if you have completed course 3 or 4 and worked as a ski instructor previously.

The job as a ski/snowboard instructor involves ski/snowboard instruction for all ages, arranging events/ activities, and partly other tasks related to the ski centre. We have a large proportion of regular guests and are recognized as a well-reputed and professional ski school.

Geilo Ski School is owned by Slaatta Skisenter AS. We are operative at Geilo and are cooperator with SkiGeilo who owns the other part of the skiing area. Slaatta Ski Centre, Geilo Ski School is a family business that places service and hospitality at the top of the list. The first lift at Geilo opened in 1954 and shortly afterwards the Slaatta lift also opened in 1960. Today Slaatta is a complete ski resort with a ski school, ski hire, cafe and a large ski play area with many fun elements.

Slaatta is a good starting point for the whole family and is within walking distance of the train station and the center of Geilo, and next door to the historic Dr. Holms hotel.

Position period: December - end of season (April)

Working hours: Full-time/part-time on an hourly basis

Language requirements: English, advantage of Norwegian, Swedish etc. Danish

Wages in accordance with agreement
