3257 - Are you MRC Globals next Project Manager?

Job Purpose

To execute and deliver complex projects in accordance with MRC processes and client requirements.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive)

The individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.



• Manage and execute projects according to MRC Global processes and expectations.

• Act as main “project-point-of-contact” between MRC Global and our client’s.

• Ensure projects are executed according to budget.

• Run Kick of meetings and project meetings with clients to mitigate their expectations and to ensure all projects follow MRC Projects Processes.

• Ensure all project related documentation and communications are filed in line with agreed practices and in accordance with ISO approved quality system requirements.

• Collate and produce regular reports as required.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties delegated by the Project Director that are within the capabilities of the Project Manager.

• Always act in accordance with MRC Safe Work instructions and our ethical framework.

• Stand out as a role model.



Education, Experience & Ability Requirements

Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.



• A deep understanding of oil & gas and/or offshore wind industry specifications and ways of working is mandatory; related industries specifications are preferable

• Ability to lead, motivate and mediate a project team.

• Ability to plan, organize and manage complex project deliveries, including risk, cost and quality management.

• Technical background – ideally in mechanical or automation

• Formal and extensive education and training in Project Management

• Proven and excellent track record of managing complex projects with tight deadlines.

• 1-3 years of Project Management experience

• Computer literate – including experience with Project Management systems, MS Office package (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Project), and SAP or similar in-house ordering system

• BSc level or equivalent
