Medarbeider Søkes for Lofoten Bed & Breakfast og Buodden Rorbuer

We need an independent, outgoing, organized person to help run our Bed & Breakfast and Fisherman cabins in Lofoten.
You will be serving our guests a traditional Norwegian breakfast, and help keeping guest rooms and common areas nice, clean and tidy for our guests.

Arbeidsoppgaver

The position we have open now is a combination of breakfast staff and household for Lofoten Bed & Breakfast and Buodden Rorbuer.

Lofoten Bed & Breakfast has 9 rooms, 2 apartments and 2 fisherman cabin, with maximum 33 guests. Buodden Rorbuer consists of 5 fisherman cabins, with maximum 20 guests. A traditional Norwegian breakfast is served for guests staying at Lofoten Bed & Breakfast, while the fisherman cabins in Sørvågen are self- cater cabins.

The job is mainly routine. We go to great lengths to give our guests the best service within the standard we have. It is important to be flexible and be able to take things on the spur of the moment. We are particularly looking for independent workers, as some work will require you to be alone and have to make quick decisions within given limits.

Duties for breakfast staff:

• prepare breakfast for guests
• serve breakfast to guests
• tidying up and cleaning of the dining room
• follow up stock in the kitchen and dining room
• provide good customer service and information to guests
• other tasks naturally associated with the company
  
  No requirements, training will be given.

Duties for household:

• cleaning rooms, apartments and fisherman cabins Reine
• cleaning fisherman cabins Sørvågen
• cleaning common areas and outdoor areas Reine and Sørvågen
• provide good customer service and information to guests
• other tasks naturally associated with the company
  
  Requirements: Driving licence class B. Other training will be provided.
