Job purpose (overview)

Venabu has a unique offer in Norway: both a hotel and a busy ski activity provider. We offer ski holidays, courses and lessons of the highest standard. Most of our guests are international and English-speaking. We are looking for qualified, experienced cross country ski instructors to join our team in the winter 2024/2025.

Job duties and responsibilities

An opportunity to be part of a dynamic and diverse team delivering outstanding ski holidays to our guests.

Working with guests from adult beginners (including older adults and sometimes families with young children) to fit, intermediate cross country skiers.

We expect you to:

  Have relevant qualifications and experience. Preferably you have qualification BASI level (2), DNS L2 or equivalent and have a valid first aid 16h

  
  
• 
  

  take sole responsibility for groups of skiers (group size up to 8-10 guests) and individuals during the lessons and tours, in a Norwegian winter mountain environment.

  
  
• 
  

  Be able to work in Norway - Comply with immigration rules

  
  
• 
  

  Speak fluent English, as most of our guests are not Norwegian. The tours and lessons are delivered in English. Team meetings are also in English. It is an advantage if you also can teach in a Scandinavian language.

  Be a team player -- working in a busy, international team consisting of guides, skistall-team and general hotel staff.

  Must be prepared to take the time to become familiar with the area
