Job Title: Interim Plant & Project Manager

Location: Sør Vestlandet

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Interim Plant & Project Manager to lead our plant, overseeing 28 employees. This role is responsible for managing production, maintenance, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on health, safety, and environmental standards. The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence, manage key projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Management: Ensure efficient production, quality control, and equipment maintenance. Lead safety initiatives, maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.
• Project Management: Manage third-party contractors and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. Oversee the plant’s transition from project completion to operational readiness.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion lean manufacturing principles, implement Factory Excellence Programs, and drive functional goals through KPI monitoring.
• Human Resources: Promote strong employee relations, ensure staff productivity, and lead organizational development efforts.

• Stabilize local KPIs and improve production processes.
• Enhance problem-solving culture and foster team trust and engagement.
• Build strong internal and external relationships.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Marine, Chemical, etc.) preferred.
• Experience: Several years in industrial management, with experience in manufacturing, supply chain, process engineering, maintenance, and project management. Heavy industry background is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in IT (MS Office, Google Suite, SAP), and knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma. Fluent in Norwegian and English.
• Personality: Strategic thinker, strong communicator, change management expertise, and a collaborative, hands-on leader.
