Hva vi ser etter

  • PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.



  • Strong background in electrochemistry and cathode materials development.



  • Hands-on experience in wet chemistry, solid-state synthesis, and characterization of battery cathode materials particularly LFP-type.



  • Demonstrated proficiency in cell testing methodologies, performance evaluation, as well as data analysis and interpretation.



  • Project management experience, ideally from industrial R&D-projects, is an advantage.



  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.



  • Strong communication and networking abilities.



  • Willingness to travel for conferences, meetings, and workshops.





Arbeidsoppgaver

We are looking for a Battery Material Scientist with expertise in cathode active materials, particularly Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries. In this role, you will be integral to our R&D projects, developing new experimental methods and contributing to groundbreaking research in the battery industry.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Design, propose and conduct experiments to develop innovative cathode materials for next-generation battery technologies.



  • Work on the development and regeneration of LFP-type materials.



  • Characterize the composition, crystal structure and microstructure of cathode materials.



  • Design and conduct electrochemical tests and analyses.



  • Generate new ideas for intellectual property.



  • Lead projects, ensuring effective execution within set timelines.



  • Collaborate with national and international partners.



  • Summarize and present research findings in deliverables and presentations, and coordinate activities with consortium partners.



  • Self-learning motivated and willing to work effectively in a startup environment.



  • Travel for conferences, meetings, and workshops as required.
