Arctic Campers AS is excited to announce an opportunity for a Rental Station Manager at our Oslo (Maura) location. We are looking for a dedicated and capable individual to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our rental operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations.
As the Station Manager, you will oversee people, processes, and the station's overall performance. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to lead a team to success. In addition to managerial responsibilities, you will also spend part of your working hours performing Rental Agent duties, including customer interactions, vehicle handovers, and basic maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:Building on the responsibilities of a Rental Station Agent, your primary duties as Station Manager will include:
• Leadership and Team Coordination
• Supervising and supporting the Rental Station Agents.
• Organizing and coordinating daily operations and workforce schedules.
• Providing comprehensive training for new employees and continuous support for team development.
• Creating a positive and productive team environment.
• Customer Satisfaction and Quality Control
• Ensuring high standards of customer care throughout the rental process.
• Overseeing vehicle cleanliness and conducting quality checks.
• Managing escalated customer service issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Operational Oversight
• Managing the workplace environment, including shop and maintenance inventory.
• Working collaboratively with the Fleet Manager, Office, and Head Office to streamline operations.
• Coordinating vehicle availability and readiness.
• Administrative Duties
• Performing Tier 1 HR responsibilities, including monitoring attendance and verifying working hours.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements:To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Driver's license B minimum (BE preferred).
• Background in hospitality and/or tourism (preferred).
• Customer service experience.
• Basic technical knowledge of vehicles.
• Proficiency in standard office software.
• Self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks.
