Kitchen & Logistics Employee for a small tourism company

The job includes a variety of tasks in the kitchen and with logistics. The Employee will be part of the team that takes care of food preparation, equipment logistics and preparing for the activities.

We are looking for several people to fulfill this role. The persons hired must already be based in Tromsø and with all appropriate work visas.

Main tasks

• Packing down from tours (kitchen and/or logistics)

• Preparing equipment & food for tours

• Cleaning tasks in our office, vehicles and our apartments

Required skills

• Good organizational and communication skills, structured and solution-oriented thinking

• Ability to work in a team and in a hectic work environment

• Language proficiency in English required, both oral and written

• Equipment management and logistics

• Basic cooking and kitchen skills to be able to work in a professional kitchen

Additional desired skills

• Speaks good English

What we expect from you

We are looking for a positive and hard-working person, who will be flexible taking different tasks and work with a changing schedule. The schedule and tasks can change last minute - depending on the bookings we have as well as the environmental conditions as well as a vehicle or team member being out of action.

The winter-time is hectic period for us and the work requires ability to handle stress, to solve problems and to adapt to last-minute changes.

The person/s needs to be comfortable with changes, be comfortable with being flexible and to fit into our existing team.

The person/s need to be available and willing to work weekends and to work during Christmas.
