HATTVIKA LODGE is the pioneering and leading basecamp for active guests in the LOFOTEN region. To take our team to the next level we are looking for experienced and motivated candidates to join our dynamic team at our Restaurant FANGST . We are searching for arestaurant manager, waiters and chefs with a passion for excellent guest experience and experience in high quality hotels and restaurants. At FANGST we focus on using local, seasonal ingredients, sourcing from a wide range of neighbouring suppliers. We serve different tasting menus in a modern Bistro style dining service at our waterfront location.
The RESTAURANT MANAGERs responsibilities are to oversee day-to-day operations, hire and train qualified staff members, and maintain high standards of service. Excellent knowledge in creating high quality guest experiences as well as a flexible can-do attitude are essential to excel in this role. The ideal candidate is proactive in idea thinking and motivated to elevate our culinary experiences with their thorough knowledge of wines and other beverages. With professionalism and a positive attitude, they manage to motivate their team and build their team`s skills to ensure a high standard with regard to all aspects of daily operations. Your counterpart is our Head Chef, and you will report to the owner of Hattvika Lodge.
Responsibilities:

Oversee restaurant operations, ensure high quality and smooth flow

Recruit, train and manage a team of waiters

Wine pairings for daily menus, tastings and special events

Ensure compliance with all regulations
We require:

Excellent communication skills in the English language (Nordic language is a bonus)

Previous experience in fine dining restaurants

Experience with budget planning and staff management

Good knowledge of wines

Out-of-the-box thinking mindset
You should know what it takes to enter the management position in HATTVIKA LODGE and FANGST, and to provide excellent customer service to all guests. We would love to see you here up north as soon as possible in 2025 and before the summer season.
For waiters we require experience and professionalism to perform service in a fine dining restaurant. Knowledge from bar/ wine is a pre as is English speaking language. We are looking for storytellers and OUTDOOR ROOTED team members to join our team at restaurant FANGST in Hattvika for both seasonal and permanent employment. You can come from different cuisine and type of restaurants, but attitude to be a great team player is the biggest motivation needed as well to provide excellent guest experience.
