Reporting to our VP Finance, you will be a key player in our Group Finance Team. You will oversee the Group´s development of financial reporting processes in accordance with IFRS. In addition, you will be responsible for the development, monitoring and ensuring overall compliance with the Group’s tax and transfer pricing policies. You will also contribute significantly to building the framework for ESG reporting in Mercell.
Mercell is highly data driven and the Group Accounting Manager is critical to ensure high quality of our financial reporting, which in the next steps is instrumental for decision making both related to regular reporting, forecasting and budgeting, but also related to ad hoc analytical initiatives.

Group Financial Controlling: Oversee financial controlling at the Group level, ensuring accuracy and consistency across subsidiaries.
Process and Control Development: Develop and monitor processes and control activities to ensure high-quality financial reporting.
Management Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management and the Board of Directors, as well as ad hoc reporting to management and owners.
Group Accounting Policies: Maintain responsibility for IFRS compliance, tax, and transfer pricing policies.
ESG and CSRD Reporting: Contribute to building the framework and processes for ESG and CSRD reporting.
System Ownership: Manage the Group’s consolidation system (NetSuite) and other relevant reporting tools.
Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from Big 4 auditing firms or a similar operational role.
Strong expertise in accounting, IFRS, and tax.
Experience with ERP, consolidation systems, and reporting tools.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian.
Experience or interest in working with Tech or SaaS companies.
Experience or interest in ESG and CSRD reporting.
