Seasonal job in spectacular western Norway

4 available positions as Bus assistants.
Norway’s best AS is looking for positive and outgoing individuals that can be the extended arm and smiling face of our Visitor center in Flåm. We are looking for bus assistants that will promote tours and products, guide and support guests and contribute to increased sales.
We think you are genuinly intersted in people, travelling and beautiful nature. You enjoy meeting and speaking to new people and you are interested in the customer experience.
In Norway we have this saying: There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
For this position, you must enjoy being outdoors. Your shift will be conducted outdoors, at the bus stop area outside the Visitor Center in Flåm, and some shifts at the Pier area in Gudvangen (transport will be provided). We do indeed belive in the Norwegian saying, and the spectacular nature of this area is even more spectacular becuase of the varied weather. But we got you covered and will of course provide you with suitable clothing.
Responsabilities will include:
- Ensure safe and efficient boarding and off-boarding of the buses
- Contribute to increased sales
- Be updated on status and capacity on the various tours
- Bus audio guides
- General customer service, providing information and guidance to guests
- Ticket control
- Ensuring a representative bus area
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working outside all day (regardless of weather 😉 )
- Has good communication skills in English (Other languages are an advantage)
- Has an open, warm and friendly personality
