Vard Group is searching for a Purchasing Assistant, eager to work within an international and motivating environment. The Purchasing Assistant is employed in Procurement Department and reports to Procurement Manager Frame Agreements & Indirect Cost.

So – what are your skills? 


Duties and responsibilities

  • Quality approval of Suppliers - Ongoing evaluation of existing and new suppliers     
  • Registration of supplier information into Vard's ERP systems, in close interaction with the suppliers
  • Contact with internal and external suppliers
  • Collaborate with other departments and others in interdisciplinary teams
  • Work with Procurement processes and documentation – e.g., Transparency Act aligned towards class requirements

Qualifications

  • Education within procurement or documentation management, graduates are welcome to apply
  • Relevant experience can replace the education requirement
  • Excellent written and oral communication, both English and Norwegian

Beneficial but not a requirement:

  • Experience in managing suppliers
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Understanding of procurement functions and processes
