Program Manager for New Product Development

• Be central in managing products and processes, getting to work globally and travel, working with cutting edge technology and, highly professional and dedicated diverse teams

• Drive exciting New Product Development (NPD) project management, including timeline management, risk management, budgets and escalations etc

• Manage the Operations domains in NPD projects ensuring they are in sync/aligned, have what they need, the right priorities and performs according to project targets

Using your Leadership Skills driving product development projects from early phase to launching into mass production. You will ensure successful products by meeting cost, quality, design, and availability. You are one of four leaders in NPD projects, this includes a lot of collaboration with a diverse group of professionals in engineering, product management and software. You will be a secure escalation point towards suppliers and internals in NPD projects.

Use your Engineering and Operations experience to secure manufacturability, resiliency and responsively in our supply chain for new products. Managing the Operations domains in NPD projects, including Project Sourcing, NPI planning, Industrialization, Quality, Manufacturing test, Logistics etc and Sustainability commitments.

Working towards Continuous Improvement by developing and implementing leading practices and processes for New Product Development projects in reMarkable, including processes, structures, frameworks, tools, ways of working, operating models etc. We are in an exciting growth scale-up stage and are all dedicated to working for the future.

We see you having a balance of technical experience and project management- with leadership experience to manage and influence and enable engineering, design and operations professionals.

• You enjoy working with new technology, both in the products and in manufacturing/assembly

• Managing people, relatively big projects and processes within Manufacturing/Operations and/or Design/Engineering

• Working with key production processes like injection molding, extrusion, die casting, sheet metal enclosures, SMT

• Higher education within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or similar technical subjects

• Experience in Design for Assembly/Manufacture/Repair/Refurbish & Industrialization of mass manufacturing products

• The ability to work in the technical details whilst maintaining an outlook for the ‘broader picture’

• Capable of complex task prioritization to ensure most critical tasks have dedicated focus, whilst at the same time ensure progress on less critical tasks

• Curious and open to learn, you want your career on a trajectory in management

• Fluent in English with strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills

• Wanted start date: ASAP - Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis

• Travel requirements: Being reMarkable’s manager for the NDP projects, around 15% on-site presence at manufacturers is expected
