SFO assistant

After-School Program (SFO) Assistant -- Temporary Position (50%)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SFO Assistant to join our team. As an assistant in our after-school program, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging students in various activities, ensuring their safety, and creating a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Working hours are mainly in the afternoon from 13:00 to 17:30 on Mondays, and 13:30 to 17:30 from Tuesday to Friday , as well as one full week in week 26 (08:00--16:00, Monday to Friday).

About the School and SFO

Romerike Int. School has 220 students , with approximately 40 children from grades 1 to 4 attending the After-School Program (SFO). The working language is English , so fluency is required.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in daily activities, both indoors and outdoors.

• Organize and participate in play, creative arts, and physical activities.

• Support students in developing social skills and positive relationships.

• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

• Assist with mealtime routines and light administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working with children (e.g., in schools, after-school programs, sports, or childcare settings).

• A positive, patient, and responsible attitude.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.

• First aid training is an advantage but not required.
