Silke Victoria Royal LTD brudekjole/cocktail kjole. Vintage 1970

Vintage pearl fra 1970 selges med kjempe tung hjerte. Jeg hadde egentlig tenkt å bruke den til mim bryllup men den ble litt for stor for meg. Den er str. M-L. Den ligger pakket inn da den er så tung på grunn av perler på hele topp delen. Denne var kjøpt fra den kjente vintage butikk i New York som kalles Vintage Virtuosa. Kan sende flere bilder ved forespørsel. Den var dyrt og jeg måte betale toll i tillegg så jeg håper du kan se verdien i den. Har aldri vært brukt av meg. Den har bare hatt en eier og er i perfekt stand, klar til bruk. Jeg selger den gjerne til høyest bud over prisen angitt, om det vises mye interesse. Ekstrem spesial til meg.

From the barely blush pink color to the exquisite bead work on the bodice to the cascading flutter maxi skirt, this dress is filled with design detail and couture quality craftsmanship. The dress is made with two distinct bodices (you can see this in one of the rear images where I show the dress unzipped); the inner bodice has spaghetti straps and is fully lined in a soft silky fabric, finished perfectly with no raw edges showing. The outer layer, as you can see is long sleeved and fully beaded, it closes at the rear with covered snaps. This layer is expertly finished and fully lined like the inner bodice, this time in a silk crepe. The long sleeves are sheer and narrow, they zip open at the hem/cuff for easy on and off. The beading on the bodice features silver bugle beads, pearls, clear round faceted beads and clear prong-set rhinestones. You'll find teardrop shaped beads around the neckline and at the sleeve cuffs. 

Now, for the skirt. Three layers of plush soft fluttering beauty make up the skirt. The innermost layer is like a slip, feels like silk and hangs straight down not to interfere with what lies on top. The middle layer is sheer silk with no decoration or flutter pieces. The outer skirt, also sheer silk, is embellished with cascades of fluttery panels that float down the dress like falling petals, this is the best way to describe this breathtaking skirt. The overall color is petal or blush pink. A true stunner!

The dress, by Victoria Royal Ltd, was made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong.  

Please note this dress is not eligible for return. This is due to the intricate beadwork on such delicate fabric. While very wearable, it is not meant to be transported back and forth, please ask lots of questions. Also we do not keep this one in the store, so if you are local and would like to see it, please email us ahead of time.

Condition:

Excellent. We took this from very good to excellent by dying the dress to rid it of slight yellowing on the bodice.

The sleeves measure about 8" around at the hem/wrist which seems narrow so a measurement you will want to take.
