Virus does not have hard polyphony limit, it just steals voices if CPU or FX can't cope with the load. In my opinion this is noticeable only on the most complex patches (think full modulation matrix, all osc on with max unison, all effects on, pad type sound with long sustain, playing 10-finger chords) or with many patches playing at once in multi mode.

Normally even TI has much much horsepower to spare.
