FiberX FX-I550 USB-A AOC fiber optic extension cable The FX-I550-020 is a 20.00m long AOC hybrid extension cable with 4.5mm outer diameter. It complies with the USB 3.1 (Gen2) specification, making it suitable for data transfers of up to 10Gbps. The cable features a USB-A male connector on one side and a USB-A female connector on the other, both with gold-plated precision mating contacts. With its hybrid construction, it offers complete protection against electromagnetic interference as well as low attenuation for perfect transmission quality. The cable requires no external power supply, it is powered directly via USB.

FiberX - When distance, quality and bandwidth are essential PureLink's FX-I550 USB-A extension cables of the FiberX series are designed for optimal transmission of USB signals over long distances. The hybrid construction of fiber and copper inner conductors allows for significantly longer cable lengths than conventional USB-A copper extension cables. This is due to the USB data transmission via fiber optics, which is free from electromagnetic influences / interference and is only supplemented by copper conductors for the transmission of power. Due to this structure, the cables are available in very long lengths between 10.00m and 50.00m and can also be used in complex environments.

The cables comply with the USB standard SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps (also called SuperSpeed+ or USB 3.0 / 3.1 / 3.2 Gen2) and are capable of transferring data at up to 10Gbps or 900MB per second.
