2 x Harrison Systems "Raven" channel strips. Made in USA
Beskrivelse av varen
Kanal 1 og 21 fra en 1984 Harrison "Raven"
De som vet hva Harrison sto og står for vet hvordan dette kan låte. Bruce Swedien og Michael Jackson visste...
"The company introduced its highly acclaimed PP-1 film console in 1979. It became the "Hollywood standard" for modern film console designs. Over the next decade, Harrison produced a series of popular consoles for film, music, broadcast and live markets. These included the MR-2, MR-3, and MR-4 music recording consoles, the TV-3, TV-4 broadcast consoles, the HM-5 live console, the Raven music recording console, and the Air-7/Pro-7 broadcast and production consoles."
"Harrison Systems MR-4 (Raven) recording console built in Nashville, 1984. The Raven version of the MR-4 console had VU pointer meters (instead of LEDs), the dark grey color scheme, Molex connector motherboards, no patch bay, and the cheaper carbon pots. I've replaced all the pots with sealed, conductive plastic (Bourns) pots, upgraded to ribbon connector motherboards, added patch bay, cleaned and tested entirely. This 40-position frame originally had 28 mono mic/line inputs plus master modules. I rebuilt it in a 16 input, 16 bus configuration plus master modules and added 4 stereo line inputs. This is an "inline" style console with the main and monitor path on each module, as well as the summing amp for each multitrack bus. Two stereo program (mix bus) outputs, four mono aux sends plus stereo cue send, four effects returns (plus the four stereo line modules), complete separate monitoring for control room, studio, and headphones, integrated talkback, renowned Harrison mic preamp and 3-band semi-parametric EQ on each mono input channel. AFL (solo in place) option cards on all inputs. Faders are all P&G long-throw, smooth, excellent condition. Complete TT bantam patch bay gives access to console I/O with lots of extra patch points for external equipment. Armrest recovered and wood side panels refinished. Custom wood meter bridge top cover. Two copies of original operation/service manual, extra modules plus a big box of spare parts (daughterboards, pots, switches, faders, ICs, etc.) comes with the sale. The original Ai213 power supply with 30' cable currently in use, and spare set of newer PSUs (not tested) also included. Audio interface is on Tuchel connectors, cable adapters to XLR are included. 16 multitrack bus outputs and 16 line inputs are wired out to XLR panel mounted behind patch bay (these connect to 16 analog I/O on my audio interface). Console is currently in use in private, professional studio, downsizing for retirement. Not for the faint of heart, nor for the amateur user, owning any older analog console like this requires a serious commitment. Definitely cannot ship, you'll need to pick it up in an appropriate vehicle. Measures 90 inches across (with patch bay), 38 inches front to back, about 40 inches to top of meter bridge. Estimate weight about 400 lbs. "
