Lyddisolert Serverrack - Noise Insulation Kit for Server(s)

Description:

- Wooden structure

- 100% of the inside surface is covered by 5cm thick acoustic panels (fire-proof). Back wall has 8cm thick coverage

- The front face is equipped with 3x 220v fans for a total forced air flow around 400m3/hr

- The air intake includes a 60cm silencer and a 60cm carbon filter

- The exhaust includes a 60cm silencer

- Dimensions: 48cm wide x 153cm long x 200cm height. Height could be reduced by installing the silencers horizontal with a bend

- Compatible with: (1x4U + 1x1U) or (2x2U) or (3x1U)

Performance:

- The kit cancels the noise to a level where a silent clim makes more noise than the servers themselves. The noise cancellation is almost total

- The kit does NOT take care of heat removal in the room, a clim is required (or a very large room together with relatively low heat production from the servers). Used with 23deg settings

- Used for 1.5 years with 4U server (800W continuous) and 1U server (650W continuous). Should work up to 2,000W, but to be tested.

- The forced air flow makes the server run at a lower temperature than if they were out of the box in the same room

Safelty layers:

- 1 out of 3 fans can fail without any consequences

- Software layer requesting gentle shutdown when a certain temperature is reached (on the servers themselves)

- Network temperature sensors are monitoring air intake and exhaust temperatures. Gentle shutdown is requested by an external NAS when a certain temperature threshold is reached (which means if the clim fails or several fans fail, shutdown will happen)

- Independent temperature sensor is cutting power if last temperature threshold is reached
