A timeless tone

Gretsch and rock and roll go hand in hand. Delivering a perfect blend of delicacy and destruction the G2622TG-P90 sound excels at everything you throw its way. Equipped with two soap bar pickups at the neck and bridge, this semi-hollow has a tone which is more transparent than a traditional humbucker, though it does maintain a lot of the tonal delicacies such as a robust midrange, and an equally powerful voice. A lightweight spruce centre block reinforces the top of the instrument to add a snappy bright finish to the tone, perfect for elevating those higher frequencies. The centre block also removes any pesky feedback ensuring that you have a crystal-clear tone. These aspects are all easily adjusted through the instrument’s classic controls, allowing you to control the level of each pickup and the overall volume.

Peak of playability

Obviously crafted with the performer in mind this instrument delivers an experience that is optimised to provide you with all the tools you need to let yourself shine. A thin “U” Nato neck provides a comfortable grip, ensuring total control of the instrument, whilst still offering the freedom to effortlessly flurry from each extreme of the fretboard. Of course, we have to mention the fretboard. The Laurel fretboard guarantees a silky-smooth playing surface that will have your hand gliding from chord to chord or throwing out furious riffs across it, cushioning each impact. Effortlessly playable, once you have experienced this you will never look back.

Hardworking hardware

The Gretsch Streamliner comes packed with an abundance of attachments that elevate the experience to that next level. Tuning stability is expertly perfected thanks to a set of Die-Cast machine heads, holding the strings in position, extending the time you can spend practicing and minimising the time spent tuning. This works in combination with a beautiful Bigsby licenced vibrato tail piece and an anchoring Adjusto-Matic bridge which allows you to add a shimmering after effect to our notes whilst keeping those strings in place and preventing them from slipping.
