These sounds represent the state of the art in VL technology and nearly a year of intense programming by world renown wind synth programmer Matt Traum. There are no better VL sounds to be found anywhere!

The PATCHMAN TURBO VL contains new Voices as well as some of the VERY BEST Voices from the Patchman Music VL70-m Volumes 1 and 2 and the Factory Presets. Of course all of these sounds have all been refined and optimized by an expert VL programmer.

Your 6 Custom bank slots are now available for 6 additional sounds if you so desire. The 256 original factory Voices are downloadable in the form of two Expert Editor (.lib) files from here PC Version (ZIP file 159k) and here Mac Version (StuffIt file148k) Special software is required to use these files (which may or may not be compatible with newer PCs and Macs). We provide links to this software at the bottom of the page here.

All Voices are grouped by instrument type for very easy and logical access. Several variations are included for the most popular instrument families. For example, everyone has their own opinion of what a sax sounds like so the PATCHMAN TURBO VL gives you several choices to find the perfect sax for your needs. There are several choices in many of the instrument families including trumpet, trombone, French horn, saxes, flutes, guitars, harmonicas, bowed strings, etc...

All Voices are extremely "wind controller friendly".

The PATCHMAN TURBO VL sounds are permanent. Now you can create your own incredible Internal bank and never again have to worry about what 6 Custom sounds you have loaded.

The Effects settings have very carefully been optimized for maximum quality. We have carefully chosen and tweaked the reverbs and effects settings in each patch to sound their best eliminating much of that cheap sounding "ringing reverb" sound that was present in most of the factory presets.

The PATCHMAN TURBO VL is cheaper than most add-on expansion ROM cards or sample CD ROMs yet far more expressive and responsive than samples. Now you can sound like Sanborn, Getz, Brecker, Desmond, Maynard, Alpert, Metheny, Pass, Jaco, Chick, or Stevie on your wind controller!
