Denne fine amerikanske slukstanga fra Montague er produsert i tidsrommet 1930-1955. Stanga som er 2-delt og ca 5ft har fått noen nye surringer.

« The Montague Rapidan model was introduced in the early 1930's and was in their line-up until the company closed down in the mid-1950's. It was one of their best sellers, and was advertised by Montague this way: "The 'Rapidan' is considered tops in the low-priced field for fly rod performance." Since it was offered for over 25 years, the reel seat hardware and wrap colors changed from time to time. Pictures of the reel seat and label could help narrow down the build date.”
