IKEA – Moment Sofa – Niels Gammelgaard – 1980s

Unique “Moment Sofa” by Niels Gammelgaard for Ikea from the 1980s. This sofa is one of Ikea’s best-selling sofas at the time. The sofa won several awards at the time, including two Red Dot Awards. Now it is an esteemed designer classic. The design was inspired by a shopping cart when Gammelgaard visited a factory that manufactured it.

The sofa is in a used condition with signs of use. The frame is in good condition. The fabric has been exposed to the sun and has a couple of stains, but can be washed and dyed black again.
