The shell is this jacket is made from a 100% nylon ripstop fabric which uses TNF's WindWall™ technology to protect you from harsh elements. It also uses a GORE WINDSTOPPER® layer for additional protection from both wind and rain, creating an exceptionally weather-resistant jacket.

The jacket has an insulation of 550-fill-power goose down which is lofty and cosy, providing some awesome warmth, and all material is up to RDS (Responsible Down Standard) quality which promotes moral sourcing. The lining of the jacket is a smooth and comfortable nylon and it has Velcro adjustable cuffs and elasticated drawcords to the hem and hood. It has a full-zip front with a Velcro padded stormflap.

The jacket comes with two zippered handwarmer pockets, two laminted zippered chest pockets and an internal security pocket. It has embroidered GORE® branding and fill power to the wrists and it has a The North Face logo emboridered to the chest and rear shoulder.
