BCA FLOAT AIRBAG SYSTEM

The Float avalanche airbag system is designed to keep you on the surface during an avalanche. The Float system uses a 150 liter compressed air, single-chamber airbag and patented super-efficient Venturi system. Float airbags provide additional trauma protection to the head, neck and upper body. Positioning of airbag behind the head and away from the hips and arms allows for clear peripheral vision and ability to escape the slide.

The newly designed ergo trigger is Oval/Cone shaped and fits cleanly in shoulder strap. More importantly it won’t catch on trees and prevents accidental releases.

The new Float 2.0 system is nearly 30 percent smaller and 15 percent lighter than the Float 1.0 engine, the Float 2.0 engine fits inside the Float airbag compartment, freeing up more valuable space in the main compartment.
