Meet Rós, our sweet 17-year-old Icelandic horse! She has a heart of gold and is looking for someone to care for her 1-2 days a week. We want her to enjoy her outings without too much pressure. Someone who considers the horses needs first, and believes there's more to being with horses than just riding.

Rós is outdoors all year round. Daily care includes tasks like mucking, preparing hay for the next day, making sure horses have their betfiber and fresh water. Communication regarding the horse is also essential, with daily follow ups.

Rós is currently paired with a Shetland pony, so it’s a great opportunity for families to ride together!

You can find us at Skullerud, where there’s a riding track at the stables and beautiful trails at Østmarka.

If you’re in search of a calm and safe horse rather than one that’s all about speed and excitement, we’d love to hear from you! Please note, the rider’s weight should be a maximum of 70kg as Rós is on the smaller side.
