The XA15 is a compact, professional Full HD camcorder with superb optical performance. Suitable for News and Sports production, as well as documentary filmmaking, this camcorder is small enough to carry with ease, yet powerful enough to record important, high-level events thanks to a 1/2.84 inch-type HD CMOS Pro Sensor. Get closer to the action with a wide angle 20x optical zoom, while an effective 5-axis optical image stabilisation captures steady footage especially at times when movement with the camcorder cannot be avoided or when there is no access to a tripod. The XA15 incorporates various interfaces including two XLR inputs for high-quality audio, a headphone jack, optional GPS support, HDMI terminal and an HD/SDI interface.

Featuring an improved 8-bladed circular aperture, the XA15 can record more natural, beautiful images, and captures smooth background bokeh

Image stabilisation can be switched to Intelligent IS when the camera is on Auto Mode

Two XLR inputs, allow for two different channels to be selected with volumes adjustable independently

The XA15 can record in both AVCHD and MP4 formats, at multiple rates and simultaneously with Dual SD card slots

Incorporates a headphone jack, optional GPS support and HDMI terminal

Suitable for shoots when both speed and mobility are critical, featuring a 3.0-inch touchscreen, 1.56 million dots tiltable EVF and a switchable zoom/focus lens ring

The XA15 has HD/SDI or HDMI Options as well as the AV Out terminal for external third-party recording
