The idea behind Retro Organs was to create an instrument that combines the authentic sound reproduction of world-famous drawbar organs and rotary speaker cabinets with simple and intuitive usability.

UVI rebuilt classic vintage organs according to their original 1940s specifications and delivered them to the renowned Guillaume Tell Studio. A highly elaborate recording process followed, during which each note was faithfully captured until the end of its decay phase. The recording featured iconic rotary speakers, vibrato, and percussion. The signal was processed through DI boxes and a wide range of classic vintage guitar amplifiers, including Marshall JTM 45, JCM 800, Plexi, Fender Bassman, Twin Reverb, Matchless Chieftain, Soldano Hot Rod, and Vox AC 30.

This massive sample library offers an inexhaustible range of sound possibilities, preserving the tonal characteristics of the original instruments.
