Classic Rock Tone Monster All Tube Marshall JCM 900. Designed to emulate modded JCM 800s, the Single channel amp has 5 gain stages and 2 Master volume levels (A and B) that can be used as a footswitchable boost (for Master B volume). Unlike the successor SL-X model, the Clipping Diode on the sensitivity knob can be bypassed when fully turned down, allowing a more classic rock tonality. Engaging the clipping circuit provides a more modern gain tone, making the MkIII a versatile tone beast and is often the most popular version of the JCM900 series».
