For the especially inquisitive, a water repellent treatment is used in tandem with light, thin, elasticated hydrophilic membranes on the natural fabric forming an invisible barrier around every fibre. Pore-free, water resistant and breathable, once applied, the advanced 3-layer system impregnates each fibre. The result is a high-performance protective membrane designed for defence against the elements and a cloth that’s 100% waterproof, breathable and wind resistant.

This not only makes clothing look sharper (and cleaner) on a day-to-day basis but makes it far more durable – regular readers will be familiar with the notion that our garments are for life, not just the season.
