#Important Considerations:

*Klipper Compatibility: The BIGTREETECH Eddy Coil V1.0 is designed exclusively for Klipper firmware. It is now compatible with standard Klipper releases.

*Metal Print Bed Requirement: It must run on metal spring steel plates to avoid interference from independent magnets. A PEI steel plate with a soft magnet is suitable, but a circular magnet scheme will cause it to not work properly.

*Z-Homing Device: The Eddy Coil does not have thermal compensation and requires a separate Z-homing device.

*Distance from Nozzle: The Eddy Coil needs to be positioned 2-3mm above the nozzle to function properly. A piece of tape with filament attached can be used to establish the correct offset.

*I2C Connection: The Eddy Coil connects via I2C connectors and is designed for toolhead boards3. It does not have temperature compensation
