Vintage Chrome King Bed Frame

Vintage chrome bed frame for sale as it sadly does not fit in our room. It’s 180x200.

*available again, a delivery truck broke down so the last sale fell through*

Many many people interested so will not sell for lower bids.

This is very similar to the 1980s vintage IKEA Kromvik bed. There’s no stickers or brand name so I can’t say for sure what exactly it is. It’s very likely from the 1970-1980s as this Bauhaus style was popular and produced then. It’s in very good vintage condition with no major scratches or marks. These vintage beds are pretty pricey online as they’re hard to come by now.

The bed is in 4 parts (final picture).

It’s a rare find and I’m hoping to make it fit somewhere so I’m not open to much lower bids at this time.

Just the chrome frame. It used to be sold with a box frame likely. You’ll need a mattress that’s sturdy and doesn’t sag, or to add bed slats or wood as support. Needs a bit of a creative solution as it’s vintage, but it’s well worth it. Comes with vintage attachment pieces, but I found them hard to use. We built the bed using wood/metal pipes inside the frame. Hard to explain, but it requires some creativity to build.
