This much coveted Fuzz Face mod, designed by Cesar Diaz, the celebrated guitar tech for SRV and others, is replicated here in great detail using the same matched pair of NTE103 germaniums transistors he used to modify Stevie's existing Fuzz Face. In addition to Cesar's original design, we've added a bias trim pot to ensure the collector of Q2 voltage is optimal (typically around ~4.5v), whether you're using 9v battery or a standard pedal power supply.

Those original pedals are no longer produced and if you do happen to see one on Reverb they're typically listed at prices north of $1,000. For that reason we're happy to offer ours at a price point that allows regular players a chance to enjoy some great SRV-inspired FF tones to their rig.
