This unique octagonal glamping getaway near Lisbon in Portugal can accommodate up to four guests and gets its name from the round dwellings of South Africa, which are typically built out of wood, stone, or clay. This one-of-a-kind accommodation is made of wood, with lovely wooden walls, flooring, and a stunning ceiling. In the spacious retreat there are two easychairs while the sitting room has a modern dining table and four chairs for guests to enjoy a meal in the evening. The open kitchen area boasts a four-burner gas stove, a fridge, a water cooker, and a coffee machine while crockery and pans are also available. The hosts provide towels and tea cloths too. The principal bedroom has two single beds that are pushed together but can also be pulled apart if guests request. The other bedroom has bunk beds that can be pulled apart as well and linens are included. A baby bed can also be provided. The bathroom has a shower, a vanity, and a toilet. In addition, there are French doors that open out to a large terrace in the shade of an old tree. On the terrace is a dining table, four chairs, and two garden chairs. From the garden chairs, guests can look out over the valley and the orchards, as this accommodation is situated in one of the most beautiful places in the garden with lots of privacy. Guests of this accommodation are allowed to use the barbecue in the outdoor kitchen too. During the high season, guests' stay will end with a communal meal, the 'Sardinhada.' This includes delicious sardines, good wine, and good company. All guests are welcome to participate! The outdoor pool is also the perfect place to relax on those hot summer days. All of the retreats have their own private terrace with a gorgeous view over the garden and the valley with the orchards. The garden is huge with a labyrinth and beautiful views over the pastures and fruit trees. There is also a plunge pool where glampers cool down on those hot summer days. The hosts have donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, cats, dogs, and even a big turtle that guests can get to know while staying at this unique site.
