We are open all year round and are delighted that many guests come and stay with us both summer and winter. There is so much to see and do in the area for both adults and children, visiting local chateau, sampling the wine, a visit to the petting zoo, horse riding, aerial walkway, swimming pool with flumes, night markets and local festivals will ensure you and your family are kept busy. Jami is a 2 bedroom gîte uniquely built inside a tobacco barn and is located just a 5 minute drive from the delightful village of Montpezat D'Agenais which is situated between Agen and Villeneuve sur Lot. There is french and English tv available at no extra cost, there is also a DVD player if you want to watch a film while you are staying with us. The gite has a large private covered terrace so you can get out of the blazing sun in the summer. In Montpezat village itself, you will find a PO, general store and a bar. An above ground swimming pool is a very welcome place to cool down and enjoy swimming in the open air. This is a place to come either to just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery and awesome sunsets, or if you are feeling more adventurous you can travel to the local vineyards and sample the wine. There are walking and cycling routes, bikes are available for our guests to use, in the area together with shops and restaurants, all within a 15 minute drive. An evening meal can be provided on request on arrival. We also provide mosquito nets so you can sleep peacefully without being disturbed by insects. During the winter months, you will find a wood burning stove to keep you cosy! Secure parking is available. The main bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a double bed. The second bedroom has twin beds and wardrobe with a chest of drawers. There is a bed settee in the sitting room for additional guests. Electric fans are installed in each bedroom to help cool you down at night. Mosquito nets are provided. In the bathroom there is a shower, basin and wc with ample lighting. A washing machine is provided for your use. The kitchen has a large family sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas hob, microwave, toaster and separate electric oven. There are ample cupboards for storing food and all plates and cutlery are provided. An iron and ironing board are included. A gas barbecue is provided for cooking outside. A large terrace with table and chairs for sitting outside and enjoying the warm weather and a tonnelle to help keep the sun off you while eating.Spacious sitting/dining room equipped with dining table with 6 chairs, two armchairs, coffee table, tv settee, comfort lighting and occasional tables.
