Charming country house near tourist sites

The Country House is very peaceful and typical of rural housing in the region. In the heart of a large garden it has a lot of charm with its small bread oven and its outbuildings the house is surrounded by its orchard, a meadow, and walking paths. You will also find a small grocery corner with apple juice from the orchard next door, jams and honey from the apiary of the house. The village with its grocery cafe is nearby. Parthenay, a medieval town where many festivals take place, is 10 minutes by car, Marais Poitevin 30 minutes, Le Futuroscope and the Loire Valley 45 minutes, Puy du Fou 1 hour and the nearest beaches in Vendée or the Ile de Ré at 1:30. The nearest train station (Saint-Maixent) is 20 minutes away and serves Paris in 2 hours.
