Chenac-St.-Seurin-d’Uzet is a picturesque harbor town. The area is known for the typical colorful fishing huts, the houses carved into the cliffs and their wine-growing areas. The mild climate with countless hours of sunshine per year makes this coastal strip a popular holiday destination even outside the high season. Activities nearby: In summer there are many outdoor activities: water sports, hiking, climbing. From Royan, the lively lake and spa town, you can also take the ferry to Le Verdon by bike. Enjoy the crossing of the Gironde estuary with a magnificent view over the entire coastline. The journey of 6 kilometers takes about half an hour and costs just under five euros. We also recommend a boat trip with a visit to the most famous lighthouse in France, the Cordouan lighthouse. The nearby village of Talmont-sur-Gironde, one of the most beautiful villages in France with its fortified town built into the sea, is particularly picturesque.
