A short boat ride from the house you find the museum for the 19th century musician Ole Bull as well as his villa Lysøen. You may also take the express boat Hardangerfjordekspressen to Bergen, Norway's 2nd biggest city. We recommend a trip to Rosendal with its barony and the river Hattebergvassdraget.
