Welcome to this lovely and traditional cabin in the heart of fantastic Valdres. Here you can dream away with the view to Vangsmjøsa and Grindane. From the cabin it is about 30 kilometer to Tyin where it is a lot of great hiking opportunities summer as winter. It is a lot of marked hiking trips in the mountain areas here, and recommended is the trip to Grindane and Gaupekollen. The exiting Kongevegen, the old main road between Oslo and Bergen, starts close to the cabin. It is also worth to mention that this cabin is only 200 meters from Vangsmjøsa with good fishing opportunities for trout with a average weight for about one and a half kilo. A 12 feet row-boat is available from june to august. For longer excursions from the cabin it is about 50 kilometer to cozy Fagernes where you can try exiting local food such as "rakfisk" and different cheese. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of NOK 150.00 per person or bring their own. Consumption costs are included in the room rate.
