Cosy Cottage in Peaceful Rural France

This is our cosy one bedroom cottage, fully renovated with a large log burner in the open plan living room and fully equipped kitchen. There is a basement with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer which you are free to use. One basket of wood is supplied for your first fire. Upstairs is a double bedroom with low original beams and an en-suite shower room. There is a large barn for parking and a private garden, with views over the countryside, a great place for relaxing. Outdoor chairs are located in the basement along with a small bbq. The cottage is set in a lovely quiet lane with only two other properties, approx 10 minutes drive to the beautiful Medieval town of Lassay Les Chateaux. Here you can wander around the medieval streets or relax with a coffee or beer at one of the local cafes and bars. The Chateaux has guided tours. The spa town of Bagnoles de l'orne is well worth a visit also with its lovely lake and many restaurants. Also Medieval Domfront, Mayenne and la Ferte-Mace with its man made lake and beach area are all within a 30 minute drive.
