Holiday home - Quinta do Rio Alva

This beautiful Quinta with 4 bedrooms is our paradise on the river Alva. We would like to let you enjoy this unique place, where you can relax, but where you can also make beautiful trips and enjoy nature (running, walking, mountain biking or on a SUPboard). All our guests agree that this is a beautiful place with a spectacular view. The exterior of the house is typically Portuguese, but it is luxurious on the inside. The house can now also be rented in its entirety for a group of friends, sports club, company outing or with the whole family. Everything is there to make your stay perfect. Everything to make your stay perfect is available to you. The glamping tents (5 or 6 people) and the guest rooms can also be rented separately. It doesn't matter to us, with us everyone gets a VIP treatment. The space Our Quinta consists of 4 private rooms, each with its own bathroom. Entrance is through the front door, through the hall you enter the stairs on the first floor where the rooms are. Here is also a large shared veranda. All bed linen and towels are provided and are renewed every 2 days. Downstairs you will find the living room, the dining area with large table, a new luxury kitchen and an extra toilet. Through the patio doors you enter a spacious covered porch. With a few steps you are in the "upstairs" garden, where we have laid cozy terraces, a large vegetable garden, a Portuguese outdoor kitchen (with wood oven, gas BBQ and wood / coal BBQ and fridge). A staircase leads to the "downstairs" garden. Here is the swimming pool with sun beds, umbrellas and pool bar. In the garden you will also find a trampoline, a soccer goal and a basketball net. Enough entertainment! Also here - with a view of the river and the waterfall - are the glamping tents. The glamping tents are new this year. A 5 person tent with the theme "moon" and a 6 person tent with the theme "sun". Both have a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom (with large shower, toilet and bathroom furniture) and 2 or 3 bedrooms. The glampings also have their own veranda with a beautiful view. Located between Arganil (3 km) and Tábua (15 km), everything you need is within reach (supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, bakery, butcher, hospital, post office). Ronqueira is the area around the river, here is a restaurant next to our house (great food!) and 3 houses on the road. Mouronho is a small traditional Portuguese village about 5 kilometers away, with a bakery, butcher, café and a church. Our place is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday in nature, in the very clean outside air, but with all the luxury of home. It is also an ideal base for walks, mountain bike trips through nature. We have many routes available for you. Many trips are also made to, for example, the Serra da Estrela, Piódão and Lousã. Here too we have made day trips, so that all beautiful places are easy to find. The climate is pleasant all year round. In the evening it cools down considerably, with a difference of 15 degrees between day and night in the summer months! Do you like a beautiful starry sky? We see this (almost) every night, beautiful!
