Le Port gite en Touraine du Sud

This old farmhouse depended in the 17th century on the Abbey of Merci-Dieu, on the other bank of the Gartempe - its name on Cassini's maps is 'Le Port de la Merci-Dieu'. It has a large square courtyard around which several houses are articulated. The garden is a strong project, with the layout of the courtyard, a collection of climbing roses. Bathing in the Gartempe is an absolute delight!
